I have PT800CE-A with P4 running XP Pro w/ SP2. It Runs fine with one pqi MD441GUOE 1 gig. It crashes when I try to add another identical memory stick. I guess i have installed the wrong memory device. Please specify the types of memory chips that PT800CE-A supports. Any help would be highly appreciated. Regards

     Your PT800CE-A system supports 2, 512 sticks of PC3200
If you have installed the DDR- 400 memory or other then you need to upgrade the bios and the motherboard. The reason behind is that your system only support the listed Memory chips.
    PC2100 266 MHz, PC2100 266 MHz, PC2100 266 MHz, PC2100 266 MHz, PC2700 333 MHz, PC2700 333 MHz, PC2700 333 MHz, PC2700 333 MHz, PC3200 400 MHz, PC3200 400 MHz, PC3200 400 MHz, PC3200 400 MHz.
If this is not an issue then you could have issues with incompatible memory. Some memory chips uses "high density chips". If you have a Memory that does not support high density modules than it will not work or it will perhaps display the half of the memory size. For that you have two options, either use one module or upgrade the hardware.
If you are having the different problem then please share the detailed information, I would feel honor to fix your issue. Regards!
