Maternity leave for female student teacher at NIE Singapore

If a female student teacher has to take maternity leave during the practicum period, will she have to redo her Practicum? Please tell me reagrding my query.

    If the student teacher knows that the maternity leave extends into the start of the practicum period, or the Estimated Delivery Date falls within the practicum period, the student teacher must inform Practicum Office at least one month before practicum begins to plan for adjustment/extension to the duration of the practicum or a deferment of practicum, if necessary. Refer to the General Information handbook for more details. Application forms are obtainable from the NIE Singapore Portal.
