I have scoliosis with arthritis, my gynecologist also says that I also have osteopenia and he wants to do a hysterectomy. Is there any other way apart from surgery?

As your condition states that there are many issues regarding your bones and also related with problems with you uretus. Now although all these problems may seem indifferent, but as a matter of fact these problems and complications are linked to each other. Scoliosis is with arthritis a well known disease and there have been reported cases of arthritis with induction of Scoliosis. But some of these cases lead to the complications that you are facing. Ostepenia has somewhat link to your digestive problem and it reduces your energy level.
As doctors have advised you for hysterectomy, there are some options in front of you. First you can go for surgery, this is the only most effective way to get rid of the problem and it has some later complications with your vaginal area.
The alternative solution to these problems can be of Uterine fibroids.
Uterine fibroids is a process of reconstructing uterus instead of its removal, it is performed in local anesthesia. laparoscopic ally or through the v****a which is called hysteroscopy. This procedure reduces bleeding as it reduces heavy bleeding tendency and it is considered now as one of the most effective way of treatment and has 86% success rates.
An alternative way of Uterine fibroids is to treat it with a procedure which is known as Magnetic Resonance guided Focused Ultrasound. Good thing about this treatment is that it does not involve and cutting or General Anesthesia and during such procedure the uterus remains intact.
