How can I become a successful male Model?

I hope that you can help me out. I am a 16 year old male. I want to become an actor and I noticed that modeling is a great way to start. I would say that I am good looking, but these days good looks doesn't seem to be the only aspect anyway. What advise can you give me in male modeling and how it works in the industry? What do they expect of you? O, what is the expected height of a male model is. I am 172 cm at the moment, but I still have four years to grow. I just would like to know what the perfect height is.

Although male models do not contribute that much to the fashion industry as a female model does and they are not as popular as female models, but still there is proper way by which you can become a successful male model. Also it seems that modeling career of male model is much easy as compared to females but it also requires a lot of hard work and time in this field.
Normally the first thing that is required in a male model is that you should have a proper height which is 5’11 and 6”2 and also he should weigh under 175 pounds. Also the career of male models normally starts from the age between 18 to 25 and it lasts till 40. In this was there is more age flexibility for the male models as compared to the female models. If you do not have a perfect body then there are other fields in which you can model apart from ramp modeling such as hand models and eyewear models.
