Well I bought this hollow turtle about a year ago and it head fell off in the end so as I was trying to put it back on I saw that it was filled with mud so I picked up the turtle and to my surprise I found a fully functioning ants nest! they must of gone thought the hole at the bottom and put loads of mud in the turtle and made there nest but the nest continued from the turtles back down into the mud on the floor. I have an old fish tank in my shed and I want to try and get the queen out from the turtle or the soil but I need to know 2 things.
1. is the fish tank good place for the ants (They are black garden ants)
2. how can I find the queen then get her out with out killing her (Because the nest is in the turtle and in the mud on the floor.
