i HAVE A 1997 E300D MB with 140k mi.I bought the car with 70 k on the odo and I have been battling a surging problem since about a year after I owned the car. between 1800rmp and 2500rpm, the car surges, the rpm needle moves up and down rapidly and in some cases quite violently. I have spent over $6,000 in repairs in hope of curing this issue. MBUSA does not seem to want to help in any way, but I am at the end of my rope. I have replaced all aspiration valves, electronics, fuel lines and gaskets, and numerous other items. possible solutions?- fuel pump timing, fuel pump?
