My question is in regards to the famous Italian city of Lucca. I happened to heard a lot about Lucca that it is one of the most beautiful place in the world. As per my knowledge, Lucca was founded by the Etruscans and became a Roman colony in 180 BC, so there are traces of a pre-existing Ligurian settlement. I want to know that would it be just fine if I make a trip to Lucca via my own car?

There is no doubt about the fact that the Italian city of Lucca is one of the best places in the world to be seen. It is situated on the river Serchio in a fertile plain near the Tyrrhenian Sea. It is also said to be the capital city of the Province of Lucca. Among other reasons, it is famous for its intact Renaissance-era city walls. Almost every site in the Lucca city is worth watching. It may not be possible or just prove to be a bit too expensive to move all across Lucca city without having your own transport. The best way to enjoy the scenic beauty of this place is you can stop where you like to and just have a little photo session. There are some areas where you would just need to be careful as you could be fined on having photo shots. The best transport is of course a car and the best would be to have a station wagon.
