It's all up to individuals, not genders. There are irrational and logical people of both genders.

After men started dropping thermal nuclear bombs on innocent women and children in their "relationships" with others, the honor of which sex is more rational was forever decided if nothing else by the pure undeniable fundamental default of baboon sub-human madness of it all. That sure convinced me beyond a doubt. Haven't ever once been proven elsewise. I think women are BORN more logical than men ever could hope to aspire to. Something in their hormones, probably. And, what males believe is "logic" is rather primitive, but they think it's special, all tidy and straight and left or white and white and black and, well, special. It's not, not compared to the organic wisdom of what seems to me to be a more integrated cognition that women enjoy.

It all depends on the people in the relationship.

For instance, a man who beats his woman is clearly either an illogical thinker, or over logical, where he thinks to the point beyond truth.

Than you have women who are quick to accuse their men, over react, and go to extreme measure to get even when things get rough.

EDIT: Now that i have a clearer mind at the moment, i can actually answer your questtion.

It pretty much depends on who is more level headed, and intelligent. I've seen realationships where the man is a more logical thinker in arguements, and sound decision making because the wife was an irresponsible person who didn't always have her priorities straight.

I have seen the same character with some men in the realationship as well. One good example i will give you is my own brother. He's an alcaholic, who loves to binge drink, and has a very selfish attitude. He also was a light drug adddict and drink everyday before he married his wife, everytime they get into an arguement, it's because he whines about how she won't let him drink during a work week. She argues with him about this because one; they do in fact have young children, two, he tends to drink and drive, three, he has a tendency to do other stupid things like show up late for work with a hangover, and he also tends to not know when to quite. So with that said, it depends on the person. And after i just discribed my brother, would you say he's a logical thinker who'o intentions are for the well being of his family? I think not, just an irresponsible idiot.

Neither, that kind of thing can't be determined by gender.

Probably men. Its really hard for women not to get caught up in the emotion of a fight. Men seem to be able to separate the logic reason from the emotional reason. That's just what I think.
