Licensing requirements to sell wine in Mexico

I need some urgent help in this regard, as I am interested in opening a specialty wine store in Baja California. I have dual citizenship here so what type of licensing must I have to sell wine here, and how do I get it? Would I be allowed to carry local Baja wines and Chilean and Spanish labels?

First of all it depends that what kind of wine store it is going to be so as to be on the right track from the very first moment. For instance, if it is going to be a retail store for wines, it would be needed to establish or register a company for retailing wine. Afterward, once the company is established, there will be need of certain space so as to make the set up of the store. For this purpose, there will be a need of a local license for selling the alcohol. Now as far as Baja is concerned, it is recommended to hire a financial attorney over there that can provide guidance in regards to where the store should be opened up. Besides, the attorney will also be there to guide on opening the company, taking the license and how to pay the taxes for the business. Since the taxes for alcohol in Mexico are just a bit difficult to be paid as they are paid on monthly basis so its better to have a financial manager who can take care of all the taxes and other related stuff.
