L2 EAD - extension. Am an L2 dependent spouse and I already have an EAD from my previous stay in

Am an L2 dependent spouse and I already have an EAD from my previous stay in the US and its now expired. My husband has now switched from L1B to L1A and we both have a valid visa stamped till Apr 2012. My husband has gone back to the US and I didnt go since the stamping. MY question is, Can I apply for the EAD extension from India itself as we have a valid I94 date as I can save on time till I could go there. Kindly advice.
