Wireless Keyboard & Mouse not recognized

I am troubleshooting a PC where the keyboard and the mouse are not recognized at all. I see the lights come on indicating it initially receives power and I have tested the power supply.The odd part is I dont get any error codes or beeps, it just goes to safe mode and boots up. I put the hard drive in another PC and it booted fine.

    I would suspect a bad PS2 port or Hardware issue. You didn't specify any hardware detail so I don't know what type of mouse you have. Could also be an outdated bios that needs updated. Without kknowing more, it could be any number of things
