Hi, anyone know what to do when the hot water goes back in to the water reservoir instead of going into my coffee cup? It either does this or doesn't come out at all. I tried cleaning like the book suggests. Thanks

When I push the button for a full cup, only a half cup portion comes out. What can I do?

Pull the water resevoir off.
Push it back on with a litte force.
Unplug machine for 30 seconds.
Then try again, this fixed my problem off the machine automatically shutting off on me.

I too have a faulty Keurig. I only use distilled water (a lot of it!!!) Have tried descaling. Mine also heats the reserve water and then dumps it back into the resevoir. When it does FINALLY brew a cup it doesn't fill the cup. I tried to call Keurig, (congratulations to those that actually got an answer) I was told a tech would call me back. 24 hours later I received the call when I was at work and could not troubleshoot the machine. Mine also turned itself off once and I discovered that the timer had been somehow set. Once I turned the timer off that problem went away. I can't figure out why it won't put water in the cup and it's not stopped up, I tried cleaning the pin with a paper clip.

We purchased our first Keurig in Feb 2010. It worked shortly and returned it to the store for another one. That one lasted until May 2010 when it stopped. Contacted Keurig who sent us a new one stating apparently there were issues from the batch made in December 09. Long story short, the third one started doing the same thing, short cups, no cups, not filling, etc. When customer & technical service was called December 2010, they wanted to know what type of water we used in it, whether there was a filter (which you can buy separately) for the water, and if it had been descaled. They suggested using a paper clip to clean the needle from the side and the back. You would have to be double jointed to get to the back of it. Needless to say, I promptly told them what they could do with their machine and hung up. A waste of time, energy and money.

Same problem here. Keurig says they no longer fix them but will sell me a new one. I don't think so.
the resevoir water gets heated but then comes back into the water resevoir from the top resevoir tube. thewater coming back in is very hot. almost no water goes into the coffee mug.
