Jobs for 12 - 13 year olds!?

Hi,

I am looking for a reasonable paid job for a young teenager and I want an answer that says I can work in a cafe or a good job like that. If you know of somewhere that I can apply for PLEASE tell me! I live in Perth wa!

    When you turn 13 years of age you can work in any Dominos Pizza store throughout WA But you shouldnt get a job just because you want to, not all jobs are fun and games. Have a look on the website and see if the job is right for you, its not for everyone you know.

    Enjoy your life. You can do anything fun as a kid or teen. Adulthood lasts the rest of your life. Go play Basketball, Football, Baseball, Hockey, or any other sports you might enjoy. Just hold off on getting a job until you are an adult. You will regret getting a job at 13 when you are older. Enjoy your life as a teen.

    why have a job when your so young get the money off your parents they get money for looking after you!     Well, you can work at Dominos pizza when your 13 years old.Check out the website, you might be able to get a job in-store. But remember you have to be OVER 13 to work there.

    I am 12 years old an would love a job. I would do any jobs as long as i get paid. I would like a job because i would like to make my own money. Also I want to have money to save in my bank account. I would not use the money on nothing stupid. I would like to get a new phone because my old one is mess up. I would also have a lot of energy when i work. And would be on task. I am very smart, intelligent, educated, focused person. I would even do extra time just to make more money. But i am not just working for the money but for the help because i love helping out people. Also because i am very active and love being energetic and busy.

    well i think you r wrong and if pre-teens want to get a job so we wont have to keep asking our parents then we can so i think you shudnt tel kids what is right and wrong we just want to make some money....... so people answer this do you want to keep asking people 4 money and all they say is no cuz i know i dnt so be smart about this and get an easy job like babysitting or dog walking or somthing were u get paid a little bit of money thanks 4 reading peace.....     First of all, your age will not permit you to work a whole lot of hours (if at all) unless you work for your family. Hopefully that gives you an idea to get your parents on board and maybe help you get a legitimate business going doing what you enjoy, are good at and have the equipment for doing. It&#039;s important to find and fill a need. You&#039;ve got the energy and time that others don&#039;t have. You can help to clean attics and garages, get a parental ebay account to sell stuff, give puppet shows to kids, wash windows, write a teen newsletter, sell &quot;green&quot; products or services, set up a coupon clipping service, run errands, fix and sell used bicycles or skateboards, create tshirts or calendars or other imprinted goods with your own designs, create websites for small local businesses (or global ones), work with training or caring for pets even cleaning fish tanks, yard work, vacuuming cars, turn school supplies into &quot;cool&quot; supplies. Business is about image so make yours the best you can. Forget about those online surveys and stuffing envelopes and all of those scams. Even if they do pay, they don&#039;t pay enough to make it worth your while. Come on... do what you love, love what you do, and the money will follow!!!

    im almost certain that the legal working age is 14 and 9 months? or at least 14 so i&#039;d hold out on your search for a job. You&#039;ll be working for the rest of your life, dont rush into it.

    The answer you WANT and the truth of the answer that you might GET are totally different. Just because you want a particular answer doesn&#039;t mean that you&#039;re going to get it.

    Can you work in a cafe where you live? Well, what do the child labor laws say? In most cases, that answer is going to be &quot;no.&quot;

    U.S. Child Labor Laws vary from state to state and even from city to city, but most states agree that you must be at least 15 with parental consent and a work permit from your school to get a job. Even then, you&#039;re going to be limited to how many hours you can work, usually between 12 and 18 hours a week.

    I applaud your ambition, but you need to be realistic. The best you&#039;re likely to get is going to be a menial job washing dishes or cleaning tables and bathrooms for minimum wage, and that&#039;s only if you&#039;re lucky enough to be somewhere that Child Labor Laws allow you to get a job at your age.
