I have a Jenn Air stove (JGS8850ADB) that the control panel goes out in the middle of cooking. Is it over heating?

    I have this model of jen-air range jgs8850ADB. When the oven is on (350) the front panel gets so hot you can burn your fingers on it!!! I called the company at 1-800-344-1274 I talked to a representative there who told me all the maytag ranges get hot because of the air flow vents. I told her that I never had a stove get this hot on the outside. Although she continually apologized about this, she had no solutions to this problem. This is a very dangerous range and now I know why it is discontinued.
