This Monday, Japan started dumping 11,500 tons of low-level radioactive water to free up storage space at its already damaged Fukushima nuclear plant for more highly contaminated water. Besides, the water was only of low-level radioactivity and had to be cleared to make some space for more radioactive water. This will add up more problmes to the local residents but there is no other alternative.
