Is "might" always followed by present pefect or can one use past perfect? E.g. might have/had been.

   The sentence is: "When I sent that e-mail I thought the department might had put out that information already, but I wanted to make sure."
    

   So basically I thought that the deparment had possibly put out that infomration prior to my thinking of it--past within the past.

   
   It sounds bad but logically it should be right... Tenses always confuse me.
