Is my silver tea pot is worth anything?

About 13 inches long silver, it has the imprint ASCO, inside of a diamond, and very small under that it has the letters E.P.C. There is a paper in it though from grandmother saying that it was a wedding gift from friend in 1947. Would that be worth anything or is it not old enough you think? I know its silver though. I would love to hear what you guys think thank you for any answers
