We have a kitchen cudboard under the sink that we use to store pots and pans for cooking. My dad has a compost heap in the garden but he has decided to have a bin in the same kitchen cudboard as the pots and pans that he uses to store the waste food before it goes in the compost heap. i am concerned that this will cause bacteria to spread to the pots and pans.
Could you please give me some advise as he doesnt think there is a problem in doing this.
