Is it illegal to put a business advertisment on US currency if you don’t change or make it undistingushable?
I have a small business that saves people a lot money on a well know and used service. I was wondering if I could print a simple statement to the fact and direct them to my web site or phone number on US currency if not to obtrusive and doesn't change the bill in any way?

    It is illegal because you are not allowed to alter the bill in anyway. Although some people do put phone numbers and email addresses on bills, it is punishable by law. Better to just print business cards. An interesting way to see where your money has been is to go to www.wheresgeorge.com. On there, just type the serial number of the bill and you can see where its been. Its interesting!
