   Various sources acclaim that Israel is building a cyborg army. But it is not confirmed so far.
   However, Israel has already developed unmanned speedboats and ground vehicles, and even border guard robot-snipers and camouflaged robot snakes. The main goal of Israel is to robotize one-third of its military machinery in the coming 10-15 years.
   Head of the Israel Defense Forces' technology branch said during an interview to a reporter "We're trying to get to unmanned vehicles everywhere on the battlefield for each platoon of the army in the field," says Lt. Col. Oren Berebbi,. "We can do more and more missions without putting a soldier in danger."
   One-third military machines of Israel will be unmanned in 10 to 15 years, says Giora Katz, vice president of Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. Which is one of the leading weapon manufacturers of Israel?
   "We are moving into the robotic era," says Mr. Katz.
   Today, more than 40 countries have military-robotics programs. The U.S. and much of the rest of the world are betting big on the role of aerial drones: Even Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed Shiite guerrilla force in Lebanon, flew four Iranian-made drones against Israel during the 2006 Lebanon War. Therefore, Israel is considered a pioneer in drone manufacturing.
