   He is a Jamaican Amercian. Christopher Maurice "Chris" Brown was born May 5, 1989. He is a very famous American R&B singer, songwriter, actor, and dancer. He started his career as a singer in late 2005 with the self-titled album Chris Brown when he was at the age of 16. The album had the hit single "Run It!", which got the top position in the Billboard Hot 100. This made him the first male artist to have his debut single top the chart after Montell Jordan in 1995. More than two million copies of the album has been sold in the United States and got the certification of double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Brown released his second studio album, Exclusive in November 2007 world widely. It produced two very successful singles; another U.S. number one hit, "Kiss Kiss" that feature T-Pain and "With You", which climbed to number two on the Billboard Hot 100. Brown has had produced many other hit singles, and his dance steps and routines got comparison to the likes of Michael Jackson. In 2009, Brown found guilty to felony assault of singer Rihanna, and was punished to five years probation and six months of community service.
