    If Beckham gets a place in the England squad for the World Cup finals, it will be because of his experience only. Lennon, Wright-Phillips and Walcott should all start ahead of Beckham, who has little to offer these days. People can harp on about his dead-ball prowess but how many of his free-kicks actually test the opposition goalkeeper anymore? And you wouldn't see Capello sub Beckham on in a World Cup match purely to take a set-piece.
