The only thing to keep in mind is that Twitter limits you to 70 requests per 60 sixty minute interval, so remember to cache or otherwise store your results. Otherwise, you may find yourself banned. If you end up building something that needs to make requests more frequently, you can always e-mail Twitter and ask for permission.
