i'm only just 13 and i think i've just started, im realllllyyyy upset and crying, i don't wanna become a young woman!?!? im not prepared for this, i see all these girls walking round normally and think 'how the h**l can they do that!?' im too scared to talk to my mum about it cos when i started into pubity she didn't take it too well, how am i meant to cope, my two best friends haven't started and compared to me it just seems like they're having the time of they're life! i don't want to be controlled by it and its a real shock just like the begining of pubity but i got over that so hopefully i'll get over this :S

im 13 and I started last year, i was petrified, i didnt know what to do i was thinking how to tell my mum ie, Should i put the bloody knickers down to wash for my mum too see the blood and then come to me and say have you started? But when you actually start you get used to it. I dont get no pains, and all my friends complain there bellys hurt and im like mine dont. Some people are scared to go for a poo, thats normal but nothings going to happen. It shoudlnt hurt. But DONT flush pads,Tampons down the toilet, Wrap them up in tissue and put them in a bin. You should be happy you have started, it shows your a grown woman, I hope this helped. x*x

That means that you HAVE started your period. I am 11 years old and I stared my period two days ago. It isn'y scary, but you NEED to keep pads or a tampon or two in your school backpack or in your purse of you have one. But if your going to tell your parents, You can tell just your mom or just your dad...but you HAVE to be comfortable about it. I told my mom, and now I'm not scared of what my om would do.

And I know how it feels when you feel like when you have stomach cramps, when you feel like your fat when your not-Fatigue- When you feel swelled or stuffed and you don't want to eat-Bloating- etc.
ADVICE: When you have a tampon inside you, You can only keep it in for 7-8 hours a day. And when you go swimming, you should keep it in, or you have a choice to put a pad on.
Don't be scared about this. I know I was before I started my period, but it's not scary.
Don't flush a pad or tampon down the toilet!!!! :-P
Your sisters may ask if you did start..and if you want to tell them the truth, then do. But if your uncomfortable, you don't have to. My 5 sisters know. Even my younger sister. And even my best friend. My friend is just like you....she was scared about it. But I told her about it, and she's okay now. So don't be afraid abou it...be comfortable with it!
Go with the flow
Theres not really anything to be scared about telling your mum ! if you think about it she will have gone through this before and she knows what it feels like !

First off, this white substance was coming out of my v****a, now i woke up and blood was coming out and it wont stop! I wipe but it just comes back, i'm really scared to tell my mom!
No you can't put period pads down the loo i started on my ninth birthday and i just about plucked up enough courage to tell my parents, don't be afraid to tell them
Okay, girlies:) I'm 14, and I thought I would calm you all down a bit. Getting your period is absolutely nothing to be afraid of. In fact, it proves that you are becoming a young woman. Every girl goes through it, so you are not alone here. For those who are scared that they will start their period all of a sudden and not be prepared, don't be scared. When you first begin your period, it should be very light, probably brown. Therefore, it will not be enough to show through your clothes or anything. Once you do start your period, it will not be anything easy or something that you enjoy, of course. However, it is not as bad as you all are a fraid it will be. Stop worrying yourself so much. You will get your period when you get it;)
im 11 and im so scared i have got like this white stuff on my v****a. me and my mum talked about it hen i was 9 because i seen in her bedroom bin a pad full of blood. SOMEONE HELP im i getting my period.
