Hi, Im 21 yrs old, i live in Raleigh NC and i want to give my unborn baby for adoption, Im almost due and i dont know where to go or do, can anybody help me with agencies or private.. Thank you, I know this is the best option.. Since i dont have a job, im two rents behind, no career and my boyfriend left me when he found out..I want a beutiful deserving life for my baby..Thank you for listening, and for the help!

    My husband and I have been married 9 years now and are not able to have children of our own. We have tried some fertility treatments but, unfortunitly each time was unsucessfull. It was heartbreaking for us. We want to adopt but just can't afford it, it's so expensive. Although we are financially stable and are able to provide for your baby.     Hello - First Congrats on the Child you do have, you are very lucky to have children with how many people are unable to conceive. He was born with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder but it don't hold him back. We live in a town called DRUMHELLER. we are famous for the Royal Tyrell museum about dinosaurs.where are you located at?We have a crib and clothes and eveything a baby needs cause we have been waiting so long for this moment o come. the crib has always been put together.We cannot have children as i had a emergency hysterectomy 3 yrs ago very traumatizing. i bled to death for 2 minutes.it was scary cause i had no on there with me. i was take by ambulance to a city.I am 30 as of Jan 13th my son is 6on sept.13.My husband and I are legally married.we have been together for 11 years now.     I was given up for adoption when I was an infant. It was the most loving and unselfish thing my mother could have ever done for me. I was given such a gift and my life was forever changed. I was able to get a college education and be very successful. My family who adopted me were able to provide me with everything my mother wasn't able to because she was young. The most important thing in adoption is finding a couple who has a strong family, financially secure to offer your child and education and everything else they will ever need, and a house that has love beyond words to give!!! I always knew I was adopted and every day I am so thankful and feel so blessed for the life she allowed me to have. I can only say that it is a hard thing to do, but I am proof that pure love of a birthmother can open doors for the future for their child. My husband and I are now in the process of wanting to adopt. We have an amazing life and I want to give back, what was given to me. If I can help you in any way please let me know. I want you to know that my heart aches for you - to be put in the situation that you are in right now. To be pregnant, loose your boyfriend, and have no job. I think you are very brave and courageous to have kept your baby and to be thinking about giving it up for adoption. Truthfully, I would not be able to do such a thing if I were in your shoes.     Hi! I posted this same reply to other very similar questions posted by others on this site, however, it completely applies to you too so I decided to re-post here. Hope it helps... First, you have a beautiful heart to consider adoption; although an unplanned situation may have brought you here adoption can really win-win-win situation for all those involved (you, your baby and adoptive parents)! Please know that you will be okay and your baby will be okay too. I imagine it is not an easy situation but you will be okay if you follow YOUR heart! Basically on finding parents...there are two ways to go about placing a baby for adoption - both of which should cost you nothing financially. You may contact an agency where they will provide you with profiles of parents that have hired that Agency to help make a connection. Or you may look for the adoptive parents yourself where parents often post profiles on parent profile sites, place advertisments with a toll free number, create websites etc. with hopes of making a connection by you contacting them. In either case, these parents should be working with a qualified agency or an adoption attorney (in private adoption) - who will then help you through the rest of the process to ensure everyone's rights are protected. Please note that states have different laws surrounding adoption so you may have to inquire specific to the state you are in. I can tell you more about private adoption as that is the route my husband and I chose to take again hoping to further exand our adopt family. Basically, private adoption is really a neat option because you get to choose the parents yourself and decides what kind of relationship to have (or not :) with the adoptive parents. You can also decide on what kind of adoption plan you would like (ie: for example if you would like updates on the baby or not, would you like to meet the birth parents or not etc). So its very important you find someone you connect with and is willing to work with you on such things. Most parents are very sensitive to the fact that this is not an easy time and will respect how you wish to handle the adoption and your attorney will bring you through the steps legally. So it really comes down to what is best for you and your baby; as a result an adoption can actually be a very positive experience. Perhaps someone here can share on their experience with working with an Agency. But which ever way you go remember it it YOUR choice and you will know what is best for you and your baby...trust that! I was also told that when a birthmom finds the adoptive parents she wants to raise her baby, she knows it (so the answers will come to you when you need them!) I hope this helps a little bit; I figured I would just give you the background information as I realize this is all new and must be overwhelming! I truly wish nothing but the best for you and your baby no matter which direction you take or whom your choose to parent your child.
