   It's really an encouraging and positive step on your part, that you desire to brighten the lives of poor African children. Their are many renown organizations working in Africa on different projects. You can donate money to the following  organizations:

   UNICEF
   Plan Uk

   These two organiozations are specifically working for the welfare of  African children.

   Good to hear someone determine to give back. Well you can either donate money or clothes, which is what the kids in Africa need the most, (clothing).    I think that would be a wonderful thing to do. I spend a lot of time working voluntarily for charities and it's a wonderful feeling. If you want to donate the money, I would...it does make a difference.

   Of course they'll want more, they're in need! But you can only give what you have, and that will be understood. Make sure you go through a reputable charity which will be able to join your money with that of others and use it where it will do the most good. Any reputable charity will understand that your funds are limited and that this is just a one time gift. They will accept it if you tell them you won't have any more to give them, if they are reputable. The United Way and Better Business Bureau are good places to go to check out a charity. If you are active in a church, your denomination may have an over seas ministry that you can contribute to or at least ask them where you can donate so that it will be used as you intend it to be.
   
   You're doing a very selfless thing which is rare in younger people these days, so God bless you for setting such a good example for others!

   Really, its your choice. I honestly think its a great idea, just donating money to help people is a great idea. I don't think they'll want more. People who have close to nothing are grateful for everything they have.
