I own a 2003 Civic IMA. .

The IMA battery will not hold its charge if the car is not driven for a week even tho it was fully charged when left on the drive.This problem occurs repeatedly.
The garage 'thought' the problem might !!!!! be solved with a replacement 'Control Unit' @ £1678. I think the IMA battery is failing. How can I be certain Honda can solve the problem.

    what IMA Battery is not easily charge.There are any techanically difficulty for charging battery.

     The problem is that battery is not properly getting charged by the generator and you need to fix that simple.
