I have a x-09 lock that is very tight and difficult to spin.

I'm not seeing the display when trying to spin the dial.
It is lock and I'm trying to open the safe. What are my options in loosening up the dial in order to spin the dial and enter the combo to open the safe? It had worked previously the same day, but never was difficult to spin.
