I have a GE Profile oven/range, model # JGB908BEK4BB, NOT REACHING DESIRED TEMP

I have a GE Profile oven/range, model # JGB908BEK4BB, when you try to turn the oven on to a higher temperature (about 450 degrees) the oven will reach the desired temperature and then turn off. Do you have any idea what the problem may be? Thanks John T
