I have a Echovue 405 DVR.

It used to record for about 10 days before it would start overwriting. Now it only records for 2 days. ive been through the menu. Video recording quality is set to low. I don't know what else to check.

    you can reset the hard drive back to what ever gig you have by clearing the discin menu
