I Like this boy and i know he like me to but he scared to tell me should i start first ?

I'm 12 years old and i like this boy and this boy like me to because he always stare at me and follow me wherever i go ... i want to be his girlfriend but i'm so scared to tell him and i know he is thinking the same thing ... last week his friend tell me that he likes me butwhen i stare at him he look at my eyes for a second and turn back ... i think im ugly .. and how could i tell him that i like him to without any voice ...
should i tell my friend ??? im so scared to tell my friend because she will tell the whole class .. is that good if she tell the whole class to let him hear ?? i know it sound crazy but i really really really need your help ... please ....

I would say just confront him and say you would like to be friends breaking the ice by offering him some help or some sort of school work. You can give him a gift on an occasion or invite him at a party where you can talk freely, otherwise when you see him following you just turn and say whats the matter. Be strong because if it is gone it is gone so grab the moment before it is too late.
