I Have Never Used facebook and i'm 20

I Have Never Used facebook and i'm 20. i have heard it from so many people, not a week goes by when i don't get an invite to join the site and lots of my friends are using the site to keep up to date with everyone else but i never used facebook and i have promised myself i will never use it. Any others who are taken the same path as me?
