    Cooma's Rotary Club in the New South Wales South East Australia hopes that a bowel cancer screening program beginning in the coming week will draw attention to the health issue around the country. The program will be run by Bowel Cancer Australia, and is not associated with the government's controversial screening program. Cooma Rotary spokesman says that the program is simple but effective in raising awareness. The club will be distributing Bowel scan kits to pharmacies across the region, before the month-long program begins this Saturday.
