Does it matter which connector on pump is positive or negative?

    Hi, Lucky it overflowed in the morning when your exhaust was still cool. Your pump is definitly putting out too much pressure. But even if you have the different pump than you thought (saw your post on the PN's) an 8psi pump should not spew gas out the carb like that. BTW one of the worst times for clogging filter, pumps etc. is when your tank is new. I bought a new one and even aired it out with the compressor before installation, but still clogged filters during the second tank full.
