    There are different roads from Islamabad which can lead us to Kashmir capital city Muzaffarabad. 

   The most common route is from Islamabad towards Muzaffarabad through Murree. A carpeted motorway lead you to Muzaffarabad. As you enter into the area of Kashmir River Jehlem stays along with you adding mount to the beauty of surrounding mountains. This is the most closet route from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad.

   There are other routes as well which drive you to Muzaffarabad from Islamabad among which through Kahhota is also very common. 

   Another route available is through Abbatabad towards Muzaffarabad.

   All these routes are full of natural beauty which attract tourist from around the country and from the world as well.

   You can reach Azad Kashmir from Islamabad by road, traveling by road to Azad Kashmir is itself an attraction as you come across the most beautiful scenes of winding rivers and hills. It takes about 4 to 5 hours from Islamabad to Muzaffarabad in a car or van. You also pass through the beauty of hills the Murree during the journey. This is the shortest route to this city. Buses and MPVs leave from Islamabad, Pakistan approximately every 20 minutes for different destinations in Azad Kashmir.
