i have Danby DDR6009REE dehumidifier. Purchased last fall. Ran for a month and then shut off for the winter. Started it last week runs fine and works but is blowing a fine granular material all over the area above and around the unit. Looks like sand but disolves in water and I assume it is calcium. I can see deposits at the bottom and side of the black container that the fan is in but there appears to be no way I can get at it to clean it. Question : is there a way I can clean this area of the unit? What might be causing the problem? How can I prevent this from happening? I do printing of photographs in this area an dirt like this is a total no-no. By the way the filter is clean.
