It will require probably no more than 45 pounds for 180 quarter pounders of a reasonable size. It should not be a very small and at the same time must not be calorie full like a 1/3 or 1/2 pounder. A hamburger is also known as a burger; it is a sandwich, which consists of a cooked patty of ground meat that is placed between two wheat buns. Hamburgers are always served with lettuce, bacon, onion, pickles, tomato or cheese and various condiments such as mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard. The condiments are usually optional for the costumers. The hamburgers have gained immense popularity throughout the world due to fast food chains like Burger King and McDonald’s. Usually, a hamburger patty is made from ground beef and some seasonings. Some cooks use eggs or breadcrumbs as patty binder. Seasonings are added to the patty hamburger, most commonly pepper and salt, other seasonings like onions, parsley, soy sauce, onion soup mix and ketchups. The popularity of burgers that have an alternative to ground beef as the main ingredient is increasing. When you are making the hamburgers, begin with 1 1/4 pounds of ground beef, which contains 20% fat. This amount is enough for four patties. Make a round patty of each section. Do not pack it tightly. Each patty should measure 4 1/2 inches across and 3/4 inches thick. Make sure that the frying pan you are using is big enough to accommodate the patties. Cook the patties on a medium flame from both sides. For a cheeseburger, place a slice of cheese on the other side, approximately, one minute before the burgers are cooked
