400 meters is equal to 1312.336 feet.
Or we can say that 400 meters = 1,312.33 feet.
And if we talk about 400 meters equals how many (if any) miles then we can say that 400 meters is a little less than 1/4 of one mile, if you are on a 400 meter track then 4 laps plus about 10 yards is 1 mile.
Use the relationship that 1 km (1,000 meters) = .621371192 miles (or about .62 miles)
    Therefore 400 meters = .4*.62 miles = .248 miles (or about 1/4 mile).
400 meters equals to 0.24855 Miles, or 1312.34 feet or 437.445 yards.
1600 meters is generally accepted as a "one mile" run. It’s not exact, but standard track is 400 meters long, and its commonplace to claim 4 laps as a mile run. So 400 meters is 1/4 mile.
To convert meters to feet multiply by 3.2808
To convert meters to yards, multiply by 1.09
    1 millimeter = 0.03937 inch
    1 centimeter = 0 .3937 inch
    1 meter = 3.2808399 feet = 1.0936 yards = 39.37 inches
    1 kilometer = 0 .621 mile
Remember, milli is the prefix meaning
    1 one thousandth (0.001).
So 1 one thousandth of the base unit meter,
Being 1 millimeter is simply written 1 mm
Remember, kilo is the prefix meaning
    1000 times as much.
So, one thousand meters (1000 m) being the length of 1 kilometer.
