male sperm lives for days and female sperlives for 5 days for higher chance to have a boy the day you are due to ovulate start to try as male sperm is faster than female so gd luck

x and y sperm DOSE determine the baby meaning yes it is the father but the envionment kills off the y`s if its too acidy so it doesnt get fetilized by the a certain sperm...read it properly and you would have known that... -_- y sperm will DIE off in certain enviornments of your cervix ...crist good look it up if you were so great at biology youd know this is actually possible

I cannot believe all this garbage about the environment producing gender, have any of you taken a biology class? s*x Chromosomes from the egg and sperm dictate gender, 100%. Females are XX so all eggs a female produces carry an X chromosome. Males have XY as thier s*x chromosomes and make sperm with either X or Y chromosomes. So it is the male's sperm that determines whether the baby is male or female. That is how you can, through artificial insemination, choose the s*x of your baby. Under a microscope a lab technician pulls out X sperm for a girl and Y sperm for a boy. It has nothing to do with what you eat or how acidic the environment is.

this is all bogus. male sperm have a Y chromosome and female sperm have an X chromosome- gender IS determined by sperm, which is why REALLY desperate folks will have their sperm spun down to separate male/ female sperm.
