    Hi, The tensioner is all there is. You should not have too much play. check the routing. Sometimes you can go around the pulleys in a different way that seems right, but is wrong. Check to see you have the right belt. Possibly you got a belt that considers an option you don't have or a year off of your model year. Is the alternator pulley on the new one the same size? You should use your old pulley if possible.
