I would like to suggest that you read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis for a good understanding of the Christian faith. Evidence That Demands A Verdict, Set Forth Your Case and Changes That Heal are good books that deal with spiritual, psychological or historical truth. You can check those out on Amazon.
Find a good evangelical church, as opposed to a fundamentalist or liberal church, where grace AND honesty are practiced. Make sure you get in a good small group Bible study where you can be real about your life and struggles. Read the Bible. I would start with Proverbs and the Gospels. Pray from your heart and ask God for direction and for what you need. Ask Jesus into your heart.

Once you accept Jesus as your Savior, find a church where you can be baptized with water. And make sure your church is a Bible believing church so you can study the Bible in a Bible study group.

I don't know what your beliefs are at the moment, but to be come a Christian, you simply need to believe in God the Father, Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit. You must also believe that Jesus Christ came to earth, in the flesh and died on the cross to save all sinners. Lead a good life, obey Gods commandments and that should just about do it :)

The only way to be saved and to get into heaven and avoid being sent to eternal hell is by believing in faith alone that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). Believe this and you are saved!

You do not "convert your religon to christianity". You change your beliefs and become a Christian. You cast your old religion aside and embrace the new one.

It also helps to turn off the logical portion of your brain.

Examine yourself, down to the very "core" of you. Are you perfect? Have you tried to do everything good- give selflessly, give up "wrong desires" or behaviours? Do you always be kind, never thinking any bad thought towards anyone? Never tell lies, never been mean to anyone ever?

When we face the truth about ourselves, and see that we can't ever perfect ourselves, by giving up earthly things, by suffering, by rituals...and we learn that God send Jesus, to pay the price, to take our place for any wrong we have done- and we admit and humble ourselves and say yes we need a Saviour..

Then God sends you His Spirit to dwell in you. God does all the transforming of you from the inside out. God indwells you. You receive eternal spiritual life from that moment.

You have a new "you" inside- which is the Holy Spirit. God changes you, you just submit to the Holy Spirit in you and follow Him. You will want to- naturally when you have Him. Your desires change. You then go about your life, letting God lead you, and be light and life and love in the world, to all you live with and meet.

It is all of God. You just say YES I need a Saviour, and realize God provided one- Jesus Christ.

religion that you inherited from your parents and grand parents is like mother religion, converting from one religion to other is act of ignorence.

When God is only ONE and unique what is the purpose of converting to other religions. the essense of all religions is same. live a good life with humanity , love , gratitude, sympathy , care etc then you will go to heaven.

There are many ways to convert to Christianity.

You have to decided whether or not you want to be Catholic, or Protestant Christian.

Catholic depends more on the priest, and Christians have a direct relationship with God.

Uh and people who reads this and tries to say that it's not true, go look it up. It's true.

Just believe that Jesus Christ saved us from our sins, and you'll be fine.

It isn't really a matter of "converting", sweet girl, it's a matter of turning from sin, repenting, and turning to Jesus. It's a regeneration of the heart.

Most churches will have a brief beginners/new members class, which could be several weeks or could be just one evening. Then yes, they will want you to be baptized. If you're talking specifically about the Catholic church they will have something more formal versus a Protestant church. Talk to a pastor at a local church for more information.

Frankly, I'd have quite a time converting my religion [or lack thereof] into Christianity and I'd sooner convert to Rastafarianism and wear dreadlocks and smoke pot and listen to Reggae which is pretty cool before I'd be stupid enough to convert to Christianity myself and have to hang with old ladies cackling hideous hymns of blood and death.
