Taiga is commonly known as the boreal forest, is a biome where you can find dense growth of coniferous forests. The taiga is prone to wildfires. Many trees have adapted to this by growing thick bark, which can protect a tree from a mild fire.
However its interesting to note that seasonal wildfires in Taiga have become a source of survival for some species, like Jack Pine have cones which only open to release their seed after a fire, dispersing their seeds onto the newly cleared ground.
