I have a concern regarding my 1991 Honda accord and its distributor. I started it like I always do to let it warm up. It started right up like it always does and I went inside to let it warm up. When I came outside and it wasn't running. I tried to start it and nothing all it did was turn over. Upon further investigation I found out I am not getting any spark. So I want to know that how do the wires go on the distributor on a 1991 Honda accord?

The distributor cap is the cover that protects the distributor and provides a spot for each spark plug wire coming from each spark plug in the cylinders. The cap is made of hard plastic and covers the distributor, which directs electrical pulses to the spark plugs. You should examine your distributor cap if your car consistently has trouble starting or if you notice abnormal shaking while idling. The distributor cap is located near the top of the engine and is easily accessible as there are no engine components blocking it. The distributor spins underneath the cap, sending a bolt of electricity to each point on the distributor cap. The electricity then travels through the wires to the spark plugs. In the 1991 Accord, the distributor is a round shape and has four spots for spark plug wires, since it came with a standard four-cylinder engine.
