I lost my car keys and it has the chip in the key and I am having a locksmith come out to make me a new set of keys with the ship in them. They told me if I have a remote starter on my car that I will have to temporarily disable the remote starter because it will interfere with programming the new key. How do I go about doing this? Turn the toggle switch to off? Or what wires do I need to disconnect? Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
