How do I tell my parents I want to be an actress? PLEASE answer!!

I'm 13 and I want to be an actress so badly!! I just need to know how to tell my parents...they will think it's a joke. I also need to now how to get started. I have natural talent, but I'm kinda shy and have no idea where I can audition. (I don't want to do stage plays, I want to do filming)
