How do I help my daughter of 5 to learn her ABC's?

I'm really having trouble with my daughter who is in kindergarden to learn her ABC's. I have tried everything and am at my wits end. I've noticed that she has a short attention span. I also, have a son that is in 1st but there have been no issues with him learning or reading for that matter. Thank you for any advise you can give.
