How do I get access to the motor/internal workings of a Braun Multiquick MR4050 handblender?

The motor will turn the handset-attachment coupling but as soon as a load is applied, the coupling stops turning while the motor continues to whirr inside. It's not locked or frozen - ease off on the load and the coupling starts turning again, like slipping the clutch in a car.
