Question:

How do I get a siemens 8800 Gigaset to register with my base station?

The new unit was purchased from a third party, and matches my other Gigaset 8800 2 line Siemens remote phones. The new unit will not register with the base station (5 others that I have had for years do register).
The new unit just searches (for 3 days). I have powered off, removed batteries started the phone from no power etc, just get searching.

    Did you go to gigaset support site? Siemens had turned support over to a third party and most times can answer questions.
