Different parcel sizes have different costs and there is a 20kg maximum weight. Airmail is available to Europe, the USA and the rest of the world but is considerably more expensive. Again different parcels and also different destinations incur different costs and have a maximum of 20kg weight. All post offices in Australia hold mail for visitors and city GPO's have a poste restante sections. If you hold an Amex card or Amex traveler's cheques then you can arrange to have your mail sent to American Express offices in big cities in America.
