One brush is much shorter than the other. Looking at the motor core, the brushes seem to have worn down the (armature?) to a slightly smaller diameter where they rub. The spring pushing at least one of the brushes is stretched and deformed - would new brushes have springs attached? Where are they available? It recently ran, but had slightly uneven motor speed and wouldn't restart after being switched off. Thanks. I hope.
